I am talking about v1. Since v2 has been released, my LBS is providing ~20% discount for the frameset of v1 (with Black Inc. bar and Ceramic Speed BB included). It is just my size and will be available in one week or two.
My last bike was SuperSix Gen3 (not Hi-Mod) which cracked due to an accident, so I would like to somewhat compare the two bikes, such as weight, aeroness, and stiffness.
The Vision wheels and Ultegrad Di2 groupset are expected to be transfer to new bike, but not the broken handlebar and stem.
Happy to hear from your experience with the bikes.
Thanks!

EDDIT: I am also considering Scott Foil and SuperSix Gen4, but adding up the expense on a new integrated handlebar and BB, they will be a little more expensive than the discounted Factor Ostro VAM v1. Though acceptable, I would like some input from you guys about these bikes. Thanks!

I think the general consensus is that all three are fantastic bikes that no one can really dislike. I do think that a 20% discount on a the gen 1 frame isn't good enough though it's cheaper than the other 2. Where I am, that frame is at a 30% discount now; maybe you can wait a while to see if price drops further.

I think it's hard to shift Ostro VAM 1 these days, even if it is lighter than the V2.
I've been offering mine for 2500E with Black Inc aero bar, Darimo seatpost included, with very little interest.

no way is a 20% discount worth it compared to the other two options

Thanks for the 30% discount information.
Could you elaborate why the gen 1 frame isn't good enough?
Another guy shared a post which seems to be quite positive.

Could you tell me why it is not appealing even the price going down to 2500E?
I watched the channel in your signature, and saw the disappointing actual weights of V2 on a scale, but what's wrong with V1?

From where I live the second hand price for the Ostro v1 has been around 1900-2000 euro, and those listing have been there forever.

There's nothing wrong with V1, i would even say it's a better deal than the v2 all things considered. Factor as a brand, simply cannot yet command good resale value price, region depending of course. From here, it's seen as a lesser brand than Trek, Specialized, Canyon, Colnago for example. It is what it is. Each market has their own perception of the brand. I sold mine before the V2 came out for quite some months for 3,000 usd net. Not terrible, but impossible to go for that price now.

In terms of ride quality the Ostro gen 1 is certainly good; the not good enough remark was referring to the 20% discount. I would rather buy a used one for much cheaper tbh.
